Registration Is Closing Soon For 2018/2019 Season

Jun. 10, 2018

2018-2019 Ringette Registraion is now underway!

Online Registration is back this year, which makes it extremely quick and easy for you to register your player(s) for next season.  Please see below for instructions and the link to the online form.
Early registration allows the Ringette Executive to plan for the upcoming season, ensuring that the groundwork is in place to make next season even better!
Ringette is a Canadian sport that was created in 1963 in North Bay, Ontario by the late Sam Jacks. It emphasizes team play, requiring each player to contribute to the overall success of the team.
Being part of a Ringette team is a positive experience for each child, where they make new friends, learn the rules of the game, and are able to witness and experience the importance of team, sportsmanship, leadership, and goal-setting.

Tillsonburg Ringette has practice ice on Wednesday evening and home games are played on Saturday and Sundays - other centers may have different home ice but most games are Saturday and Sundays.
Tillsonburg Ringette is part of the Western Region Ringette Association and abides by all Bylaws and Policies of the Ontario Ringette Association and Western Region. www.wrra.ca

Divisions are set out as follows:

Learn to Skate
U7 2014 and later
U8 2011
U9 2010
U10 2009
U12 2007-2008
U14 2005-2006
U16 2003-2004
U19 2000-2003

If there aren't enough players within a given division to make viable teams, the Coaches, Director of Coaching and Player Development and President will create teams, ensuring that the best possible match is made for each player. This selection will be based on player skill level, to ensure safety, enjoyment of the game, and provide both personal and professional development. Teams may not be finalized until late September or early October. There is no roster limit for underage players, but there is a team limit for overage players.  All overage players must be approved by Western Region at the first league meeting in September.
